| Objectives To investigate the changes of plasma S100A8/A9 and matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2) between normal pearson and patients with acute coronary syndrome .To evaluate S100A8/A9 and matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2) both as a potential early screening and The clinical significance of therapeutic targets. Methods We Selected 84 patients with acute coronary syndrome as acute coronary syndrome (Acute coronary syndrome ACS) ACS group , including 43 patients with acute myocardial infarction (Acute myocardial infarction AMI) and 41 patients with unstable angina (Unstable angina UA). Normal pearson 23 cases was selected as control group. We use Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to detecte the plasma Levels of S100A8/A9 and MMP-2,also measured triglyceride (TG), low density lipoprotein cholesterol-C (LDL-C), fasting blood glucose (FBG) and other biochemical indicators of the three groups. We studied the changes of plasma S100A8/A9 and MMP-2 in different groups and their association with each other. Results (1) Age, sex, blood pressure rate, the proportion of smoking, cholesterol level, fasting glucose levels and other indicators was no significant differences in control group, UA group, AMI group. 2)Serum of S100A8/A9, MMP-2 levels of AMI group, UA serum levels was higher than control group (P <0.01); serum S100A8/A9, MMP-2 levels of AMI and UA group were significantly different (P <0.01).(3) We use Spearman correlation test analysis, serum S100A8/A9 and MMP-2 levels in ACS patients were not correlated (R = 0.151, P> 0.05). (4)We use multiple linear stepwise regression analysis to analysis risk factors associated with ACS. Genisi points (coronary stenosis severity) as dependent variables, age, sex, hypertension, smoking, TG, LDL, FBG, S100A8 / A9, MMP-2 as the independent variable, statistical results showed that S100A8/A9 (standard partial correlation coefficient 0.353 P <0.05), MMP-2 (standard partial correlation coefficient 0.345 P <0.05) were independent risk factors for the ACS.Conclusion S100A8/A9, MMP-2 was in the high expression of ACS in the occurrence of acute coronary syndrome, which help predict the risk of coronary heart disease and coronary heart disease among patients with risk stratification. Combined detection of serum S100A8/A9, MMP-2 may be an effective predictors of the clinical indicators of cardiovascular events.. |
