The Expression With RPB4 In Serum And GLUT4 Of Endometrial In Women With PCOS Of Insulin Resistance

Objective The purpose of this study was to analyze the women normal characteristics, determine the expression of glucose transporter 4 (GLUT4) in the endometrium and the levels of serum retinol binding protein 4 (RBP4) in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) with insulin resistance (IR). Investigate the effect of serum RBP4 and GLUT4 in endometrium in PCOS with IR. It may provide a theoretical basis for the monitoring of susceptible crowd and early prevention of PCOS with IR.Methods The study was carried out at Tang Shan Hospital for Women and Children from April 2009 to May 2010. The case group includes 37 PCOS with IR patients, made 20 pathologic study of endometrium. 31 PCOS without IR patients were selected as control group, carry out 20 pathologic study of endometrium.Acquired information including age, height, weight, waist circumference, hip circumference, etc. The biochemical parameters and Oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) and insulin releasing test were measured. Pathology examination was taken in all endometriums. Serum RBP4 levels were measured by ELISA. Expression of GLUT4 in endometrium was detected by immunohistochemisty SP methods.Results(1) The waist circumference, waist to hip ratio index in the case group were higher than the control group. significant difference between in the two group (P<0.05).(2) The CHOL, LDL index in the two groups have not significant difference. The TG index in the case group were higher than the control group, while the HDL levels in the case group was lower than the control group significant difference between in the two group (P<0.05).(3) The levels of serurn RBP4, fasting plasma insulin, Homeostasis model assessment of Insulin resistance higher in the case group than in the control group.(4) The expression of GLUT4 in the endometritum of two groups. It was significantly lower in the case group than in the control group, Significant difference between in the two group (P<0.05).Conclusions The research indicates that(1) In the case group, the levels of serurn RBP4 were significantly hight.(2) The expression of GLUT4 in the endometrium of PCOS decreased,perhaps the expression decrease concerned with endometrial insulin resistance of PCOS .
