Objective:To observe the effects of Penehyclidine hydrochloride in combined with atropine on heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, airway secrection.,respiratory mechanics in laparoscopic operation for pediatric indirect inguinal hernia.Methods:After randomization, sixty patients aged four to six were assigned into three groups:atropine group(0.01 mg/kg,n=20), Penehyclidine hydrochloride I group(0.01 mg/kg, n=20), Penehyclidine hydrochloride II group(0.015mg/kg, n=20).The premedication was administered IM,30 min before carrying out tracheal intubation anesthesia. All parameters including heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, airway secretion were recorded at before administration,15min after administration,30 min after administration,2 min after tracheal intubation, extubaion. Meanwhile peak airway pressure(PIP), mean airway pressure(Pmean),lung compliance(CL),resistance of airway and adverse reactions were recorded at 1 min after tracheal intubaion(before artificial pneumoperitoneum), after artificial pneumoperitoneum,1 Omin before operation.Results:The demographic characteristics, heart rate, blood pressure, temperature in three groups had no difference (P>0.05). The heart rate, blood pressure, temperature and airway secretion in Atropine group at T1,T2,T3,T4 were different form that at TO. The similar results were obtained in Penehyclidine hydrochlorideâ… group and Penehyclidine hydrochlorideâ…¡group (P>0.05), except airway secretion (P<0.05).While heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, airway secrection.,respiratory mechanics were different in atropine groups compared to Penehyclidine hydrochlorideâ… group andâ…¡group (P<0.05). Conclusion:In compared to atropine, penehyclidine hydrochloride with minimal effect on heart rate, blood pressure, may reduce airway secretion, but can effectively improve respiratory mechanics. Penehyclidine hydrochloride could be a better choice as premedication in in laparoscopic operation for pediatric indirect inguinal hernia.
