Clinical Study On The Effect Of Jie Jiu Hu Gan Decoction In Treating Ninety Cases Of Alcoholic Hepatitis

Objective:To observe the effect of the Jiejiu Hugan Decoction on Alcoholic hepatitis, and to explore the curative effect of Chinese Herbal Medicine Decoction on alcohol-toxic interior wet heat.Methods:Ninety subjects with Alcoholic hepatitis of alcohol-toxic interior wet heat were randomly and equally divided into the treatment, control and blank group.The general treatment of three groups was similar (strictly abstaining drinking, regulating emotion, having high protein, low fat, rich vitamin and high calorie diet). The subjects of the treatment group were treated by Jiejiu Hugan Decoction, blank group were not given any drug treatment, and control group were treated by Polyene Phosphatidylcholine Capsules. The curative effects of three groups, including changes of clinical symptoms, physical sign and the index (such as ALT,AST,GGT) of the subjects, were evaluated after one month treatment.Results:The clinical symptoms and liver function of the three groups improved at different levels. There is significant difference of liver function in the same group before and post treamtent (P<0.01). The function of liver (such as ALT,AST,GGT) was decreased dramatically between the treatment group and control group after treatment(P<0.05); The total effective rates of Traditional Chinese Medicine were statistical significant difference between treatment group and control group(P<0.05). And there are not side-effects among three groups.Conclusion:Jiejiu Hugan Decoction can decrease the function of liver (such as ALT,AST,GGT);improve the traditional Chinese medicine syndromes and discomfort or pain in the right side and hiding fever of subjects with Alcoholic hepatitis. There are not side-effects and abnormal safety during the period of the treatment.
