Research On The Impact Factors Of Medical Treatment Choice In Chronic Diseases In Zhenjiang

Recent years, with the continuous improvement of living standards, there is a gradually shift in disease spectrum of resident. Residents leading cause of death is changing from acute infectious diseases to chronic diseases and it caused a large burden of diseases.The purpose of this study is by an Empirical Investigation of chronic Patients, to understand the concept and behavior of chronic Patients. On the basis of prospect theory and factor analysis, this paper try to find out the impact of factors of chronic diseases Patients choice. Provide a theoretical basis to health policy for the government to improve the standard of living with chronic illness.This paper combines standard research method with empirical study. Firstly it reviewed the theories and literatures of medical treatment choice in chronic diseases. Secondly this paper analyzes the behavior of chronic Patients' choices of model reference points. Anchor psychological, social factors and economic factors are the factors influence a patient's behavior. It applies the prospect theory of behavioral economics to analyze the behavior of patients with chronic diseases. Established a model obtained by calculating the conditions of patients to achieve maximum utility. Then this paper makes surveys by sending out questionnaires to a total of 300 patients in Zhenjiang, and taking back 229 valid samples. The effective response rate is 76%, using statistical analysis softwareSPSS11.5, statistical analysis and the results were summarized as the following:Patient perception of quality of hospital services; The Tendency of patients choice; The patient's own level of medical level; Patients social capital; Patients availability of medical services; Patient demand for medical services and Patients degree of concern for their own disease will be the main factors influence chronic diseases patients choice.According to empirical results, this paper proposes the following recommendations:(1)Improve the quality of services the hospital, to be able to provide better treatment of patients. Improve the quality of the hospital services, doctors, nurses including other hospital services, Should have a good attitude to patients, to provide good quality services to patients.(2)Improve the accessibility of medical services. Regulate medical practice, reasonable reduce standard of medical charges, improve the level of medical care to establish different levels of medical security system, Medical service system and price system to meet the different requirements, so that patients can have access to better basic health care.(3)Strengthen the prevention and treatment of chronic disease prevention and promotion. Chronic non-communicable diseases have not only geriatrics diseases, we should estimate direct economic losses and indirect economic losses which caused by this diseases objective. To strengthen chronic disease prevention for the purpose to reduce the pathogenesis and control the major risk factors.
