Land resources are the physical infrastructure of human survival and development.As human land use activities and the increasing intensity of land growing environmental degradation, land ecological security has become an important aspect of ecological security, ecological security of the land has become the sustainable use of land resources, cutting-edge research topics. Wuxi City is located in the center of the Yangtze River Delta, and is in the period of mid to late industrialization transitional and the period of accelerated development of urbanization, population pressure and industry in the dual pressures of economic development, urban and rural life in Wuxi City, pollution, industrial pollution and agricultural pollution emitter, surface water pollution problems have become increasingly prominent, dropped to poor water quality in Taihu Lake V class, national product, life was seriously affected by the ecological security of land in Wuxi City challenges. Ecological security of land for scientific and accurate evaluation, both a comprehensive understanding of the ecological security of land, but also to lay the foundation for sustainable development of Wuxi City, Wuxi City, the sustainable development of future social and economic significance.Currently,there are many land Ecological security evaluation, but mostly uses single method, the study area from a single point of evaluation, evaluation results are only limited to a single area. Based on this, selection comprehensive Index method, ecological footprint method, material analysis method to evaluate land ecological security of Wuxi City from multiple perspectives, use multiple methods of evaluation. Finally, analyzing the land ecological security evaluation methods based on the analysis of the land system of ecological security evaluation of the integrated applications. The main conclusions of this study: (1)1998-2007, the comprehensive index Wuxi measured value of the land year in and year integrated ecological security, state-level by the Security level drop to a good level; ecological footprint measured in Wuxi City, ten years of land ecological deficit is increasing; property element method calculation results, Wuxi City, the declining level of ecological security of land, the security level down to a good level. Calculation results show that three methods, Wuxi City, in the year of land ecological security deterioration of the adverse conditions.(2)Analyzing the land ecological security evaluation methods based on the analysis of the land system of ecological security evaluation, the problems are:①target selection, indicator system, not a comprehensive scientific and rational;②benchmark index and weight to determine subjectivity;③evaluation of a single point of view, the lack of multi-angle, multi-disciplinary reference integration.(3)Land for ecological security evaluation methodology complements the ideas are:①change the current index system defects and deficiencies, the study area reflects the characteristics of building the evaluation index system;②weights and the comprehensive index in the benchmark index, should be more comprehensive, objective method to determine;③evaluation of reference related fields, rich land ecological security evaluation methodology.
