The high-performance of human resources is the guarantee of longprosperity and the basis strength to win competition to those Internet enterpriseswith high development speed and well–educated employees. The higherresignation rate than traditional industries is a challenge to HR management. Tocarry out career development and management(CDM) is an efficient methodto keep the high-performance, high-loyalty and continuously improving staff.Based on the relevant career management theories and the insufficiency of careermanagement of Internet companies, the thesis brought forward the principles,elements of designing CDM and the procedures to carry out the CDM.The thesis consists of four parts. The first part described the characters of theindustry and the employees, and the challenge in HR management accompanyingwith the character;The second part introduced basic theories on careerdevelopment and management;The third part probed into career developmentsystem and procedures to apply the system;The forth part pictured careermanagement procedures and combination with career path design, performancemanagement and feedback system.
