Based On Arm Embedded Home Gateway Research And Design

It is a trend that network in home connects Internet.Home gateway is a hinge that connects home network and external network.The thesis has proposed a kind of design that embedded home gateway system based on ARM and Linx.It has also proposed a kind of project that establishing wireless network scheme in home based on Zigbee technology.32-bie ARM micro-controller is used as center processor unit to form hardware platform of home gateway.Embedded Linux is used as software platform of the system.Embedded Web Server is established for remote client's access.In the design of hardware.The thesis introduces the design of main circuit module including: Nand Flash module, SDRAM module, Ethernet module, serial-port module and wireless transmitting module based on Zigbee.In the design of software, at first Boot Loader and Linux 2.6 is modified and transplanted. Root file system is established.Then the design of embedded Web Server is emphasized.CGI program is writed to achieve creating dynamic web.Embedded database SQLite is introduced to manage and store the information of home devices.At last communication protocol of homenetwork and receive or transmit flow is designed.Finally the thesis gives the test and analysis of the system.It proves to achieve the expectation and be feasible for the system.
