Microwave Power Module (MPM) includes a microwave solid-state power drive module, power supply, Traveling Wave Tube (TWT) amplifier, which is a key component of the radar transmitter. MPM combines the advantages of both solid-state devices and electronic vacuum devices, as high emission power, small size,it plays a pivotal role in today's electronic warfare. Therefore, the study of MPM technology is an important direction in today's electronic military.This Dissertation focuses on the key technologies (microwave equalizer) of solid-state power drive module (SSA) designing, specially in-depth study on the design of microwave broadband equalizer and gives some new design methods to improve the microwave equalizer design. Traditional design methods use resistance loaded microstrip resonator as the basic unit of equalizer, then use computer to optimize the circuit design to meet the requirements of the broadband microwaveequalizer ultimately. This Dissertation presents several equalizer design methods for solving some technical difficulties in the process of broadband equalizer topology, then adopts appropriate methods to design and product a series of 6~18GHz ,2~6GHz ,9~11GHz equalizers, and verified the feasibility of the new structure of equalizer.This Dissertation describs the composition of the microwave power module and optimization methods, and describs working principle and circuit structure of solid-state power drive module, then set design goals with cooperation, on this basis, produced a 9~11GHz microwave solid-state power drive module, the driver module would meets the requirements of cooperation and has small volume, high gain advantages.In order to reduce the volume and improve S11 of microwave equalizer, this Dissertation presents a Defected Ground Structure (DGS) model structure of equalizer design, simulat and measure with this method, the structure provides a feasible of LTCC and other new technologies in equalizer design.This Dissertation designs a series of equalizers and 9~11GHz power driver module, they all have been successfully applied in the traveling wave tubes and microwave power module systems, and obtained a good evaluation.
