Colored Petri Net-based Workflow Modeling And Implementation

Abstract Workflow modeling mainly concerns the way to express clearly and accurately business process within actual application. A good modeling method is a key to the realization of Workflow model. At present, there is the same problem of commonly used method of based activity, case and language. Modeling process can not verify the correctness of the workflow model.For this reason, the paper adopts the Colored Petri Net modeling method of based status.The paper firstly introduces relational concept of workflow and workflow reference model.And four kinds of common workflow modeling method are analysed in detail ,the paper adopts the Colored Petri Net of supporting the operation process validation to establish model.Then the correlation theories of Colored Petri Net and the mature tool–CPN Tools which is used to have, to simulate and analyzes its model are elaborated in detail. And it designs workflow model based on Colored Petri Net from two angles of processes and resources.On the foundations of theoretical research, it is to online shopping system as an example in the paper. The main work are listed as follows:The operation flow of online shopping system is carried on the analysis,gives the modeling principle of its processing flow using the Colored Petri Net.Based on the modeling principle establishes the overall flow and each sub-flow of system and gives the explanation of places and transitions in the model and the implementing process of each sub-flow of system.Order process is the core of online shopping system business processes.It is followed closely to order process as an example, elaborate at length the modeling process of it and its formalized definition. And the state space tools of CPN Tools complete analysis of the order process CPN model of the basic characteristics. It is add timestamp to the CPN model and the simulation tools of CPN Tools obtain and analyse the simulate report.
