The Online Survey System Based On Data Warehouse Design And Realization

With the quick development and popularization of information technology in our country, the informationization of internal companies has been greatly improved, competition between them thus become more and more fierce. Especially when China entered into WTO, so many overseas companies poured into China, which caused those local companies not only have to face internal competition, but also need to accept the challenger outside. How to exist and develop under such competitive circumstance becomes a problem every company has to face and solve. It is an effective way to improve products' after-service and enhance a company' s competition through establishing highly efficient enterprise information platform.This paper tries to introduce Data Warehouse technology through analyzing Online Survey Platform of Shanghai InsightCN Company, and combining the actual situation, develop a set of suitable Data Warehouse System for InsightCN.The purpose for Shanghai InsightCN to build data warehouse is to establish a complete information warehouse which is covering the whole core business information, management information, and external information, to realize the exploration of the truth of online survey from a quantized point of view, and also to provide information inquiry, dynamic report generation, poly-dimensional data analysis and data digging services for managers.Considering the organization of Shanghai InsightCN, the whole data warehouse system adopt two-layer structure mode, which can better meet company' s decision supporting need. The complete framework of data warehouse system is composed of data warehouse, ETL, and data showing.
