With the technology of smart home developing continuously and improving, the smart devices are more and more popular in smart home, which meet the demand of users to monitor smart devices and share resources. In order to management the various devices in smart home through a simply and easy way, smart home , based on an open control environment ,will make all kinds of smart devices or the digital devices into a whole by home networks, which can replace the software and hardware rapidly and flexibly according to the user's requirements in a home, and absorb the new technologies timely, so that the different companies of different devices can be Plug and Control, devices can find each other automatically and work together and achieve full interoperability. Based on such a premise, this paper proposed the Plug and control technology based on the open control environment. Through the development of Plug and Control protocol stack, we realize the technology of intelligent interconnection, mutual control and Plug and Control between smart devices.First, this paper introduces background in general, includes practical significance and the goal of this paper which achieved: an open server with smart devices or smart devices with smart devices can be interconnection controls mutually and cooperative work. Then, because of the smart home features under open control environment, we introduce the open control environment, server and the smart devices which smart home need briefly. Thirdly, introduce the design of the Plug and Control protocol stack, and analyzes its each levels specifically. Then, analyzing the performance of developed protocol stack, and analyzing the completeness, scientific nature and actual feasibility of protocol stack by the tools of Petri net. Through an objective theoretical analysis, find the problems and shortcomings existing. Finally, we examine the feasibility of protocol stack by simulation environment which using the existing hardware and software. The protocol stack can be verified not only in theory but also in practice after examination.
