With the rapid development of the Internet, more and more network applications make more requirement to the QoS and network security. But the Internet based on the TCP/IP just provides limited service. It can not provide the quality of service and the network security for many new network applications. So, all the research people of the world offer many ways to solve this problem. One of the ways is the important science innovative project in national."The research of XXXX"that University of Electronic science and technology of China does. What I do is the performance testing of MCES based on SUNA. This is the first testing. By testing, we can find some problems in the new host prototype. It can help us to analyze and solve problems. From the testing data, we can know the running status of the new host so that we can promote the host prototype. The test has an important meaning to this whole project. The test result of this article should be an useful data in this project. I believe, with the development of this project, it will be the important part in the SUNA research project. This article introduces the basic principle of SUNA and the characteristic of MCES This article analyzes the performance testing methods of MCES prototype. At the same time, it sets up the performance testing platform of MCES host prototype, and archives a series of test data and conclusion accroding to the testing. With this testing platform, we compare MCES host prototype to the system performance of TCP/IP. The result of test illustrates that the performance of MCES host prototype is almost same with the TCP/IP system. So the feasibility and validity of SUNA has been proved.
