Network Contacts And Our Public Areas Of The Building

As a classical concept of the Western political philosophy, "public sphere" is one abstract description of the process of public opinion formation, which refers to range between the state and society, as the field or mechanisms for public communication, free dialogues and open expression of views through various media. Through the inspection of the "public sphere" theory, the public sphere has been in the trend of gradual decline in the modern capitalist "society country-rization ". However, as the rapid development of network technology in recent years, the traditional "public sphere" began gaining the possibility of reconstruction in the network communication, which is a new way of public communication. This paper is an attempt to take the history of Western public sphere as a reference on the basis of using the concept of "public sphere", and reveal the inherent relations between the network communication and the construction of "public sphere". Then, take this as base point, discuss whether the "public sphere" existents or not in our country, analyse the social condition and background characteristic of times of the formation and development of China's contemporary "public sphere", then explore the approach of constructing our country's "public sphere" from the perspective of network communication.The paper mainly includes four parts: First, make an explanation of the theory of "public sphere". On the basis of Habermas's interpretation, this part focuses on the connotation, features, elements, as well as the history of the "public sphere"; Second, from the perspective of network technology, reveal the inherent relations between the network communication and the construction of "public sphere", then point out the features of network communication; Third, give out a comprehensive survey of China's "public sphere". After discussing the existence possibility of China's "public sphere", we will place the "network communication" in China's social reality, and try to grasp what and how the network communication can do for the construction of "public sphere" from macro-analysis to the microcosmic analysis; Last, from the perspective of network communication, we will make our efforts to explore the way of constructing our country's "public sphere". This part will start on the analysis of network's ecological crisis, then, towards the goal orientation of "public sphere" ,we will look for a way of what we can do for the network communication through ethical norms and government's administration.
