Multimedia Playback Control Algorithms And Software Design

In recent years, Digital Video Recorder (DVR) has been developed rapidly with the commencement of domestic security applications, the development of the multimedia technology and: video compression technology. Embedded DVR has occupied an important position in the new digital security system. Command control is one of the most important functions of embedded DVR. This paper proposes a multimedia Command control algorithm, which supports a variety of Command states. It can adjust the audio and video data playing direction, speed and system performance.Chapter 1 summarizes the network of monitoring equipment, media playing control technology development and introduces the subject of this research paper.Chapter 2 describes the embedded DVR software systems and related technology, which focus on the finite state machine and UNIX socket technology in the system application.Chapter 3 analyzes the embedded DVR hardware architecture and software framework. The Command control algorithm to achieve the software platform and hardware platforms is also clarified.Chapter 4 shows a detailed explanation of the control algorithm design and implementation. Command control algorithm is consisted of video control algorithm and audio control algorithm. The video control algorithm and the audio control algorithm are discussed in detail.Chapter 5 discusses the application of Command control algorithm on embedded DVR in the local and network playback module that clarify the practical value in its application.Chapter 6 describes the design and the conclusions of the tests.Chapter 7 concludes this dissertation, as well as further work for the paper.
