The Pacs System Regionalization Study

Picture Archiving and Communication System, PACS, is now the hospital image discipline development tendency. With the improvement of domestic medical system and further opening of medical market, the PACS system has already become one of the hot spots which the academic circles, the medical service administration, the hospital leader and the Radiology pay attention.Along with the development of Hospital Information System, Radiology Information System, Integrating Healthcare The Enterprise, PACS has already become the important constituent of the hospital information and the network. In order to cause the flow of medical health care more reasonable, and to have better and more effective social economy benefit, specially to achieve full sharing of the medical service information resource, construct region large-scale integration PACS has become current and the long term development tendency.This article introduces the concept of PACS, its history, and its application status nowadays domestically and overseas. This article also introduces the Standard which the PACS complies with, and the concept of Region medical service. By the inspection to some hospitals, this article shows the functions and characteristics which the region PACS must have. This thesis draw a project about the using of PACS in region, adapts to our country's actuality. Moreover, it designs the modules of Region PACS reporting system and develops Region PACS reporting workstation.By the project we draw in this article, it is possibly to share PACS information in region. This article has important researching values to the using of PACS in region.
