Data Packet Software Testing Technology Research And Applications

This thesis is based on the research of software testing on data management software. The aim is to make software testing more effective and more automatic.Firstly, the structure and main functions of data management software are introduced, including the testing scope of this software. Data management software is an application setup on distributed system, mainly focus on data collection, analyses and report. Now it is broadly used in many important areas such as government, war industry, scientific computing, and finance.Secondly, the concept of software testing and GUI testing is introduced. Different sets of test cases are designed based on the function list of data management software.Thirdly, to achieve the research destination, an automatic testing system is designed. The design and working principle are illuminated, including the detail implement of each main function module. This automatic testing system is according to the principle of job schedule system, constituted of control machined and agent machine. The control machine mainly focuses on distributing job, collecting log and reporting. The agent machine focuses on scheduling WinRunner to execute job.Fourthly, the working flow is introduced based on a specific example. The result shows that this automatic system can make a big progress on the effectiveness of software testing. The research has achieved original goal.Finally, a conclusion to this thesis is made. The lose end and what needs to be polished are pointed out.
