With the development of CMOS imaging sensor,there have been many applications on industry, mobile, automobile, consumable, security, medicine, aeroplane, space technology , military etc.Compared with CCD,CMOS imaging sensor has advantages on integration,complex,power,cost and develop cycle.Western developed countries have accumulated successful experience however we still know little about large frame CMOS imaging system.There are great requirement for high performance and low cost video systems in the future.So it is very important to obtain kernel technology by researching high performance CMOS imaging video system to meet the requirement.This paper reviews the development of kernel devices and technology of high speed&large frame CMOS imaging system,researchs the kernel technology, analyses the performance and characteristic of IBIS5—A— 1300 manufactured by Fillfactory,implement two shutter modles and the flexible configuration of state.Design timing circuit with verilog hardware design language based on CPLD of max2 series of Altera to control CMOS image system.Implemented high speed interface design with 68013a USB2.0 chip manufactured by CYPRESS and developed firmware and application software.As of hardware design, the separation of the imaging part and the controlling part, four layers of PCB and the stable supply voltage outputted by Low Dropout regulators are applied to make this system be characteristic of high integrated quality, reliability and flexibility.
