Web-based distance education is a new mode of education developed from the high technologies including computer, multimedia and network communication. However, the distance experiment teaching is always the bottleneck problem in the distance education. Therefore the research of web-based laboratory is quite signification.Based on the analysis, summarize and classify of web-based experiment system and their literature at home and abroad, a control system network experiment platform, which is a combination of virtual experiment and remote experiment, is brought forward and realized. At present, every subsystem of the control system network platform has been developed. By our website, users can not only do some simulations but also watch and control pilot plants in the lab in the university and anywhere. The framework of the thesis is arranged as follows:At first, based on the analysis and summarize of network lab, detailed design about the hardware and software framework of control system network experiment platform and functions of every subsystem are introduced, then, a comprehensive analysis of feasibility including reliability and stability is present.Secondly, the framework and method of virtual experiment subsystem of control system network laboratory is presented. Developed traffic light control and DC motor control are introduced in the detail.Thirdly, On the basis of LonWorks network and TCP/IP, the realization project of control network remote experiment subsystem is presented and the hardware and software architecture is designed. Taking water position control for example, researching the communication between the client and server computer in the internet and communication measures of dynamic data exchange, detailed development of remote experiment is given.Finally, a brief summary of this thesis and some advice about further development for the control system network lab are advanced.
