The new survey technique development of the earthquake precursor can usually catch the new precursor information and may raise the levels of monitor and prediction. Form the end of 80's of 20 century, along with the quickly technical development of satellite remote sensing, the new methods and means in earthquake prediction are put forward, viz. application of the technology of satellite remote sensing on earthquake prediction. The practice of more than ten years proved, it is a new methods of quite developmental future that using the satellite thermal infrared anomalies achieves earthquake prediction during the short-term and impending period.During one month or three months ahead strong earthquake occurred, land surface temperature near epicenter area usually presents a comparatively distinct calefactive course, its duration generally is about 10 to 30 days, its increased temperature range generally is from several to above 10. It's maybe is rational to geologic conformation movement in epicenter, and this anomaly maybe the new earthquake precursor before a strong earthquake.In this paper, we mainly deal with EOS Terra satellite data, based on digital signals processing theory, used the advantage of wavelets transform principle in exquisite variety signals, to find the rule of earthquake precursor. In addition, we creatively process satellite data using the trend-surface analysis which is widely applied in geological analysis. According to variety of the coefficients solved from trend-surface equation, the infrared satellite remote sensing data can be quantificationally interpreted.Using above two methods calculate the thermal infrared information in Sitsang to recognize anomaly and receive ideal production.
