Broadband radio frequency simulation techniques play a very important role in the research of new radio frequency homing weapons and electronic antagonism technique. In this dissertation, several important subjects about broadband array radio frequency simulation system are studied, such as the limiting factor of system bandwidth, target positioning error, the structure and design of broadband radio frequency simulation system. The main contents are as follow:1. The positioning error of the simulation target in triad of antennas is the key to the error of the radio frequency simulation system. Based on the theories of electromagnetism, the equations that determine the direction of the simulation target in radio frequency simulation system are derived. Simulation target positions are figured out by the method of moment equilibrium. The schemes of the array controls are established and the simulation target controls by computers are carried out.2. In this paper, the two kinds of near-field effect in radio frequency simulation: the near-field for single antenna and the near-field for a triad of antennas are described. The mathematical model of the target positioning error and the high accuracy scheme are established. The result of the simulation indicates that the mathematical model can work well at any frequencies, any calibers and any caliber field distribution and can correct the simplification error of the angular glint equation.3. The affected factors of the target positioning error are analyzed. The compensation schemes for simulation target position are established. The experiment data are deal with in computers by the method of mathematics statistics.4. The bandwidth limiting factors of array radio frequency simulation system (RFSS) are analyzed. The technique projects to expand system bandwidth are designed. Analyze the experiment data to validate the possibility and accuracy of the projects to expand bandwidth.5. The key problems of the real-time broadband simulation system are analyzed. Real-time controls of the broadband RFSS are designed.
