As the development and application of the biochip, how to obtain the biologic information from the biochip promptly and exactly has become a key issue. Nowadays, biochip scanning and data processing are implemented by scanners and computers separately. Whereas, they can be accomplished in one machine with the embedded system. With the DSP, the biochip data can be processed in high speed. This paper describes the design and implementation of a biochip scanning and analyzing system based on the embedded microprocessor/DSP codesign. The DSP software design of the system is presented in detail.Chapter 1 provides an overview of the biochip, embedded system and DSP, also gives the significance of the research work.Chapter 2 discusses the hardware architecture of DSP TMS320C6211 and MPC823e, software programming environment CCS and the embedded operating system.Chapter 3 presents the process of use and the architecture of the system. The hardware structure is based on TI TMS320C6211 and MOTOROLA MPC823e. The software runs over DSP/BIOS and embedded LINUX separately.Chapter 4 is focused on the interaction of DSP and MPC823e. and also discusses the DSP software design of the system. The software includes scanning and sampling control, image processing and analyzing, adjusting the gain of PMT, DSP software and parameter upgrading, halting scanning.Chapter 5 discusses several problems occured during the system test, and the corresponding solutions.Chapter 6 gives the main research conclusion and the prospect of further research work. |
