This task is about the Research and Application on 3D-Visualization Technology of Horizontal Well Hole Path. It is the subtask of Control Technology about Well Hole Path of Sea-Bottom Large Displacement Well that is the subproject of Making Hole Technology Research of Sea-Bottom Large Displacement Well that comes from the Advanced New Technology Research and Development Plan (863) of our country, and its Project No. is 820-09.Scientific Visualization and Computer Graph Technologies have embedded many practical engineering problems in Petroleum Industry. But, in the aspect of Control Technology about Horizontal Well Hole Path, Home Software is not satisfying in the Research on 3D-Visualization Technology of Well Hole Path, and Foreign Software about Visualization Module of Well Hole Path Visualization is expensive, moreover we only have the right to use but no self-copyright. Therefore, this task is put forward just based on the situation. This task has much practical significance, and is worth researching.During the research of this task, by analyzing the curve data of Well Hole Path, and by using the theories and technologies such as Software Engineering, Visualization in Scientific Computing and Computer Graphics, Numerical Value Analysis, Data Structure, Algorithm Design and Analysis, Object Oriented Software Development and Object Modeling Technology etc, to use Object Oriented Programming Language "Microsoft Visual C++" under Windows98 environment to accomplish designing and developing 3D-Visualization Software of Horizontal Well Hole Path on schedule.This Software Interface is friendly, and operation is simple. By running it, user can observe the Single Well or Cluster Well Hole Path directly and vividly, Moreover can implement the graph to Move, Rotate and Zoom incrementally and dynamically, to magnify locally, to display animatedly, and to update movement, rotation and zoom display real-time.This task implements the 3D-Visualization of Horizontal Well Hole Path through the research on the 3D-Visualization Technology of Horizontal Well Hole Path. So it brings about convenience for designing, planning and controlling the Well Hole Path, and setting down development scheme, therefore it obtains the anticipative purpose.Finally, I also bring forward several aspects for further research for the future.
