Based On The The Fieldbus Underlying Control Network Applications

The emergence of distributed architectures based on smart components and fieldbus networks leaded to great changes of the control system. It makes the architecture of control system developing from centralized architecture to distributed architecture. Control system is turning to be a distributed,networking and intelligent system. In this paper,to realize a low-level network of a control system,we study the technology of fieldbus control system and analyze the architecture and the communication model of PCS. And then,a widely used fieldbus - control area network (CAN) is discussed in the paper. After the discussion from theory layer,we introduce the design and implementation of a CAN bus based control system. At last,we discuss the trend of control network development.This paper can divide into 3 parts. In part one,we introduce the basic aspect of PCS including his features and his architecture,etc. Compared with the OSI network model,we present the network model of PCS and introduce several different types of PCS. And then,we carefully study the technology of CAN bus used in our system and analyze the theory and the protocol standard of CAN bus.In part two,according the discussion in part one,we begin the discussion about the details of design and implement a CAN bus based control system. According the requirement of the system,we introduce the whole architecture of our system and give the reason why we chose CAN bus. And then,we introduce the component of the system software and give the details of main parts of the system.In part three,we explore the trend of the control network development and conclude that control network will be sure to integrate with Internet. We also introduce several current schemes of integration of control network and Internet.The paper discusses fieldbus technology and introduces an application of PCS. Fieldbus control system is an integrated system combining the technology of control,networking and embedded system. There will be great significances in studying the integration of control network and Internet.
