Synthetic aperture radar occupies an absolutely important place in the field of imaging radars, which has a prospect of wide application and a development potential. This thesis is based on the project from the key laboratoryof national defense in the 29th research institute---SAR systemfor receiving and processing signal and its simulation research. Through researching imaging technique theory of SAR deeply, this paper have simulated raw data of ground targets and built a common model of digital processing with object-oriented analysis and design method, which presents references for application of SAR on computer. This software will be used for researching airborne SAR and electronic countermeasure. The main content of this paper is concluded as follows:1. According to analysis of some popular raw data models of ground targets, imaging characteristics and imaging quality, a raw data model of airborne SAR is built. Backscattering data of some complicated ground targets are got with software. The specific relation between time and space of SAR is considered, and so are the shadow conditions of different objects. This paper presents a method that uses many independent backscattering units to replace the whole object, which reflects the geological characteristics of objects on ground to some extent.2. Based on discussion of SAR high resolution and theoretical imaging model and existent simulation of SAR digital processing, a more convenient and useful model is built that realizes dialogue between man and computer and hasa interface of adding noise signal.
