The Development Of Pdm Applications And Related Technologies

This paper is based on the project "Shanxi Jingwei Textile Machinery Co. LTD RDM System" which is developed by CAD research room at the Institute of Chemical Machinery of Zhejiang University and Shanxi Jingwei Textile Machinery Co. LTD in common. Product Data Management begins with Drawing Files Management and develops a kind of technology about managing all information and process related to the product. This title analyses and researches this kind of technology of Product Data Management and constructs Shanxi Jingwei Textile Machinery Co. LTD PDM System by applying in this technology. The content of this dissertation includes:Analyse and summarize the current status of the manufacture enterprise inside and outside country and bring forward a kind ofmethod which makes them do away with any difficulties------constituteProduct Data Management of enterprise.Research the development and the current status of PDM inside and outside country. Point out the shortage of the development of PDM inside country and expect the nice development of PDM. At the same time, work over some skills related to PDM system and discuss their newly development in order to develop this system.Sum up the general system structure and mostly functions of PDM system. Based on this, put forward system structure and functions of PDM system, which will be developed.Analyse and study Object-Oriented technology, by which establish the model of Shanxi Jingwei Textile Machinery Co. LTD PDM System. Found different model according to different function module and constitute the basic frame of the system.Study database technology and found the data vault of Shanxi Jingwei Textile Machinery Co. LTD PDM System by the mature relationship database. It becomes a base of the other function module.Detailedly introduce the process of development and the used think and method of the whole system. Mostly introduce the development and realization of some child system.Summarize the finished work and point out the deficiency.At last put forward some personal propositions for the future work and anticipate a future of PDM system inside country.
