In the civil aviation industry, bad weather conditions will interfere with the pilots’observation on the track to result in a great security risk during landing. And airborne track-imaging radar can detect track case, guiding the plane landed safely. It’s very important of data processing and display and control design to show more intuitive track distance and angle information to pilots. Data processing and display and control, whose main task include echo data processing, dealing with the information of targets, showing important information and adjusting the radar parameters and so on, is an important part in modern radar system.In recent years, the embedded system has been sharply grown, and which is more and more popular used in radar systems. Using embedded technology for radar data processing and display and control can not only reduce the cost and volume of radar, but also simplify the difficulty of design and enhance the flexibility of the radar. ARM, which is the most popular embedded processor, is the best choice for radar data processing and display and control with its rich peripheral equipment, friendly human-machine interactive interface, and easy design process.This article aims to use ARM processor to realize the data processing and display and control in monopulse sum and deference beam angle measurement radar. The most important work for this article is setting up the embedded development platform, the realization of radar data processing algorithms and the design of user interface software. Setting up the embedded development platform include the Linux operating system’s migration, building file system and the migration of Bootloader. Data processing means realized necessary data processing algorithms for track radars in embedded system including separation of data and points fitting coordinated with FPGA whose main task is radar signal processing. And finally completes the human-computer interaction software development for the display of data processing results with Qt graphics library by building Qt development environment in Linux operation system.
