Clinical Observation Of The Black Cloth Ointment Treatment Of Hypertrophic Scars

Purpose: The hyperplastic scar is the common diseases in the plastic and cosmetic surgery . It can impact on patients with facial and physiological functions. The prevention and treatment of the hyperplastic scar has become a major issue of concern to the people. There are various ways to cure the Hyperplastic scar, but the therapeutic efficacy is not satisfied. In this experiment we used the Heibu plaster of traditional Chinese medicine which is created by zhao bing nan who is the famous doctor of traditional Chinese medicine to cure the hyperplastic scar . Afer the three months treatment, we has researched the therapeutic efficacy of hyperplastic scar with the Heibu plaster of traditional Chinese medicine and contrastive analysised the therapeutic efficacy between the Heibu plaster of traditional Chinese medicine and the compound heparin sodium and allantoin gel.Method: From September 2006 to August 2008, the doctors of the plastic andcosmetic surgery department in the first affiliated hospital of the Liao Ning university of traditional Chinese medicine had respectively treated seventy-two patients whose wounds had been cicatrized well from ten days afer to thirty days with the Heibu plaster of traditional Chinese medicine and the compound heparin sodium and allantoin gel. The Heibu plaster of traditional Chinese medicine contains the Black vinegar,the Callnut,the Centipede,the Honey and the Borneol. There were seventy- two Hyperplastic scars in the patients' bodys. The patient has the itching and painful symptoms . The Hyperplastic scars were the pink or the purple-red tumour, were higher than the body surface. The surface of the Hyperplastic scars was the hyperemia condition and its quality of material was hard . The edges of the Hyperplastic scars were normal and did not surpass the skin around. A clinical trial was conduced in randomized and parallel -control method. The patients with the Hyperplastic scars were randomly divided into two groups: the treat group were treated with the Heibu plaster of traditional Chinese medicine and the control group were treated with the compound heparin sodium and allantoin gel. We compared the therapeutic efficacy between two groups afer the three months treatment.Results: 1.Afer the three months treatment, the efficiency of the Heibu plaster of traditional Chinese medicine is 94.5%.2. Afer the three months treatment, the efficiency of the compound heparin sodium and allantoin gel is 86. 1%.3. Afer the three months treatment, there is not statistically significant difference (P>0.05) in two groups.Conclusion: 1. The therapeutic efficacy of hyperplastic scar with the Heibu plaster of traditional Chinese medicine is satisfaction.2. The side effect of hyperplastic scar with the Heibu plaster of traditional Chinese medicine is few.3. The Heibu plaster is worth spreading and using in the clinical.
