| Objective:We determined the contents of CuZn-SOD and MDA in serum and EPS between the patients with CPPS and health young man,and discussed their meanings in diagnosis and treatment of the CPPS.Methods:The 40 patients who were confirmed CPPS in the out-patient department were divided into inflammatory group and noninflammatory group.We used Xanthine Oxidase method to determine the contents of CuZn-SOD and used TBA method to determine the contents of MDA.Results:There was no significant difference in the MDA contents of serum among the three groups (P>0.05,P>0.05,P>0.05).The MDA contents in the inflammatory group and the non-inflammatory group were marked higher than those in control group(P<0.01, P<0.01).There was no significant difference in the MDA contents of serum between the inflammatory group and non-inflammatory group(P>0.05).The CuZn-SOD contents in the EPS of the inflammatory group were marked lower than those in the noninflammatory group and the control group(P<0.01,P<0.01).There was no significant difference in the CuZn-SOD contents of the EPS between the non-inflammatory group and the control group(P>0.05).The MDA contents in the inflammatory group were marked higher than those in the non-inflammatory group and the control group (P<0.01,P<0.01).There was no significant difference in the MDA contents of the EPS between the non-inflammatory group and the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion:The oxidative stress in the patients with the inflammatory CPPS was stronger than those in the health young man,while there was no significant difference of the oxidative stress between patients with the non-inflammatory CPPS and the health young man.It could be served as a valuable diagnostic paramenter and also be useful to assessing the efficacy that the contents of CuZn-SOD and MDA in serum and EPS in the patients with CPPS. Besides,SOD could be helpful to treat the inflammatory CPPS. |
