Pharynx Cough Decoction Yin Evil Stagnation Laryngeal Cough Recent Clinical Research,

Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect of Li Yan Zhi Ke Tang in treating laryngeal cough which pattern is Yin deficiency and Evil stagnated.Methods: We collect 68 patients with laryngeal Cough in Yin deficiency and Evil stagnated pattern. The patients were randomly divided into the test group and the control group, 35 cases in test group and the other 33 cases in control group. The test group was given Li Yan Zhi Ke Tang, one dose three times a day for 7 days continuously and the control group was given Ji Zhi Syrup, 10ml three times a day for 7 days continuously., Observation time is 7 days which is just for a course of treatment. During the therapeutic period, we observed the changes of the patients' symptoms, signs and adverse reactions.Results: The result shows that the total efficacy of the test group comparing with that of the control group, according to the statistical analyze , P<0.05. It implies that there are differences in the total efficacy between Li Yan Zhi Ke Tang and Ji Zhi Syrup Comparing the distinct efficacy of the two groups, P<0.05, it implies that the recent efficacy of Li Yan Zhi Ke Tang in treating laryngeal cough excels that of Ji Zhi Syrup.Conclusion: The study tells that the Li Yan Zhi Ke Tang is definitely effective to treat the laryngeal cough, which can stop cough, relieving itching ,quench thirst..
