Licorice Tibetan Medicine Literature And Its Comparison With The Literature Of Chinese Medicine

Traditional Tibetan medicine is a summary of the medical experience of the Tibetan,which has a very long history. In modern time, traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine have both made a big contribution to the enterprise of the human health, but there are some disease that they can not cure completely. It is valuabe to understand,learn,and handle the theory of the Traditional Tibetan medicine,and combine with the Traditional Chinese medicine together to use for the clinical.As one of the traditional Chinese drug that are commonly used,licorice lead a influential place in the clinical. During the Tang Dynasty ,the traditional Chinese medicine had been introduced to Tibet,and influenced the traditional Tibetan medicine deeply, and at the same time ,some traditional Chinese drug had began to used in the Tibetan medicine. This article study the literature of the application of the licorice in the traditional Tibetan medicine,aim to summarize the characteristic of it,and provide reference to the investigation of the application of the traditional Chinese drug in the traditional Tibetan medicine.There are three parts of this article:first one is the literature reviews,in which the advancement of the Tibetan medicine and the licorice have been introduced.The second is the investigation of the theory of the traditional Tibetan medicine, in this part , the rationale,the diagnose and the clinic of the traditional Tibetan medicine have been investigated initially,and also the Tibetan drug. Then compared with the relation part in the traditional medicine, to get ready for the investigation following.The last one is the investigation of the licorice application in the traditional Tibetan medicine.Through the analysis of the literature documents, we study some problems as follows : 1.the source of the licorice in the Tibetan medicine. 2.the nature and flavour of the licorice in the Tibetan medicine. 3.the efficacy of licorice in the Tibetan medicine. 4.the regularity of the compatibility for licorice in the Tibetan when used to treat for lung disease, Mai disease and febrile.Through the investigation ,the characteristic of the licorice use in the Tibetan medicine has been summarized initially ,which can be a groundwork for the study of the traditional Chinese drug use in the Tibetan medicine.
