Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging On The Prevention And Treatment Of Alzheimer's Disease-related Cognitive Dysfunction And Chinese Medicine Research Progress

This review on 16 researches of functional magnetic resonance imaging in Alzheimer' s disease, gives a summary on the result of functional brain imaging of AD, analyses the relation between the imaging result and clinical cognitive impairment, such as memory impairment, Visuospatial Processing difficulty and executive control impairment. More over, it gives an exposition on the imaging result of compensatory hypothesis of the brain, explains the physiologic and pathologic changes in AD by FMRI. At last, it talks about the limitation of FMRI, and the development of the technique itself.This review gives a brief introduction on the progress of TCM treating Alzheimer' s disease by explaining the clinical researches and lab researches.
