Objective: chronic atrophic gastritis is the common ailment of digestive system. CAG's characteristic is analosis of gastric mucosa and glandular organ, mucosa thinningz, lamina muscularis mucosae thickening, accompany with intestinal metaplasia and atypical hyperplasia. Gastrelcosis, Gastric polyp and gastric carcinoma may be continued by chronic atrophic gastritis.This study approach the Risk factor of eating habit related with chronic atrophic gastritis,invest the eating habit of every pattern of syndrome,and provid evidence of precaution for CAG.Methods: Collecting patients of CAG from the Jiangsu province hospital of Chinese medical, compared with patients from department of orthopaedics, depa rtment of otorhinolaryngology. Getting the data of patients' eating habit and pat ients' syndrome. To discover the Risk factor of eating habit of CAG.Results: The x~2 test show family medical history of gastropathy was the ris k factors of chronic atrophic gastritis(P<0.05). The few intake of vegetables (O R=3.017, 95%CI= 1.377-6.606), irregularity in diet (OR=2.665, 95%CI= 1.351-5. 255) ,salty diet (OR=3.84, 95%CI=1.513-9.710) was the risk factors of chroni c atrophic gastritis.Conclusion: The few intake of vegetables, family medical history of gastropathy, irregularity in diet,salty dietwas the risk factors of chronic atrophic gastritis.The nosogenesis of CAG can be reduced by change people's diet habit.
