Acupuncture In The Treatment Of Retinitis Pigmentosa Clinical Observations,

This essay is made on the basic of long clinical experience of my tutor, using acupuncture to treat eye diseases. For many years, my tutor has experienced the acupuncture treatment, using in principal acupoints all around the eye. In treatment group, it has been studied the curative effect of acupuncture treatment on 15 cases, suffering of retinitis pigmentosa . For the control group of 15 patients, it has been used only medicine. The result clearly indicates that the curative effect of the acupuncture treatment, using acupoints all around the eye, is outstanding, as control group P<0.05. It is shown that the acupuncture treatment, using acupoints all around the eye, for treating retinitis pigmentosa, is the main treatment, and insisting with this treatment we could improve the visual acuity of the patients.
