The present study used a cross-sectional model to investigate how psychological symptoms are influenced by work stressors, work-related social support and coping among employees for diseases Control and Prevention .The paper mainly included three parts: first, an summary of the related literatures was reviewed; second, three questionnaires were constructed by the writer, in order to assess the work stressors, the work-related social support, the coping and their qualitative analysis conforms to psychometric testing requirement; third, participants were 185employees for diseases Control and Prevention from Shanghai and Kunming, they completed six questionnaires, those self-report instruments that include CMI, CES-D, STAI for assessments of psychological symptoms and one for work stressors, one for worked-related social support and the last one for coping. Using the SPSS11.5 software and the LISREL8.50 software, the test carried on the structure equation model analysis. Result: 1.The modiflcative model Ml was obtained after deleting two variables of family support and work-related personnel support because of their LISREL estimates were smaller, the Ml fitting index achieved statistics request, the model fitting was good; 2. The work stressors had positive relationship to negative coping and the psychological symptoms; the work stressors predicted the psychological symptoms of depression, anxiety and somatic complaints; It also had the indirect effect to psychological symptoms, and negative coping served to mediate partially the relationship between the work stressors and psychological symptoms; 3.The support from supervisors and co-workers was positively related to active coping and negatively to psychological symptoms, no mediating effect was found for active coping between support from...
