A Preliminary Study Of The Medicinal Value Of Sea Red Berries

Haihongguo,the fruit of Malus prunifolia (wild) Borkh of rosaceae, existed in the trigone in Shanxi Province,Shanxi Province and Neimenggu Autonomous Region. It was reported that nutritional compositions have been found in haihonguo,which were helpful for human health. And it had good benefit for the blood lipids of the old. But its pharmacological effect has not been reported. in this paper, the purification process of Haihongguo flavonoids and the corresponding components along with the pharmacological actions as well as the quality control of Haihongguo flavonoids were investigated.In First section, the determination methods of the total flavonoids were studied, which provided foundation for the preparation technology. The effect factors to the flavonids extraction such as extraction menstruum , extraction times and the volume of menstruum were stuied, and the best extract process was thus got .The content of total flavonoids in Haihongguo was determined by an UV method . The components in the total flavonoids in haihongguo were analysized by TLC and HPLC methods, respectively. Rutin, hyperin and quercetin were be founded . Then the content of rutin, hyperin and quercetin in the flavonoids had been determined by HPLC method.In this paper, a preliminary study of the effect of the total flavonoids on anti-myocardial ischemi, which belonged to cardiovascular system disease was also studied. In order to get the LD50 and the maximal tolerance dose of flavonoids in Haihongguo, the acute toxicity test was carried out firstly. Then the effect of Haihongguo flavonoids on the anticardiac muscle blood-deficiency and its anoxia-enduring effect common pressure of tested animals were examined. The exciting results was got and showing that Haihongguo flavonoids could be vital compositions for cardiovascular system diseases.In this paper, the pharmacology valueof Haihongguo flavonoids was preliminarily studied in the first time, the result provided useful exploratory research for the further development of Haihongguo.
