Object ive:In recent years, apoplexy that is a kind of disease endangering people's health becomes more popular in our daily life. The research of epidemiology shows that in our country annual incidence of apoplexy is 110-180 to one hundred thousand, annual mortality rate is 80-120 to one hundred thousand, annual morbidity rate of people living in the city is 600-700 to one hundred thousand , annual morbidity rate of people living in the country 300 to one hundred thousand . More worse, there are seventy percent of the survival suffering from varying degrees of functional disorder, even forty percent seriously disabled. All this leads to heavy economic burden for family and society. Obviously, it is urgent that therapy of apoplexy should be attached emphasis on. With the hands on background of predecessor's hard work, Chinese traditional medicine plays a very important role in the therapy of apoplexy, and functions under a system of its own. This article is dedicated to observe the clinical curative effect on apoplectic hemiplegia by therapy of Chinese medicated wine bathing, exploring its inner mechanisms. Methods:1, clinical material: The cases are selected from 2003.1-2005.12 in-patients, 200 standard clinical cases were divided into 2 groups at random, 140 cases in treatment group and 60 cases in control group.2, Treatment method : Chinese medicated wine bathing was assigned to the cases of treatment group, while Chinese medicated liquid bathing to the cases of control group. The patients took bath in the diluted herbal lotion which were kept 36°C -40°C 20-30 minutes, 3 times every week during four weeks course.3, Security test ing: Before and after therapy, two groups both undergo routine examination , such as blood routine, routine of the urine , excrement routine, liver kidney function , electrocardiogram . From the results, index above of the two groups indicate no damaged change before and after therapy. For complication, except for contraindication, this therapy usually can be adopted, no untoward reaction turning up.4, Curative effect assessment: Based on nerve movement function's standard of perfection and the viability evaluation criterion, we carried out a assessment between before and after therapy. Then with the aid of statistics, we made a curative effect comparison between two methods. Results:We find total effective rate of treatment group was 91. 4%.
