ObjectivesTo evaluate the therapy effect of CT-guided sacroiliac joint puncture and blocking. Methods28 patients suffered from low back pain were included in our research ,who were diagnosed as sacroiliac joint disorder and injury. (from 2001—2005) 12 male and 16 female, ranged from 25 years old to 68 years old(the average age was 36.6 years old).The patients were pone to CT-bed. To make 20 degrees between sacrum and CT-bed. The transaction slice was about 2 to 3 millimetrum. 2% lidocaine was injected for local anesthesia. Sacroiliac joint injection was used by 7 number-long-needle. ResultsIt comes out an inspiring results. We set four grades to the effect of our therapy: excellent, good, moderate and invaluable. All patients benefit from the therapy, while the excellent rate is 85.8%. ConclusionsThe lesion in sacroiliac joint cause the anatomical change and lead to biomechanical disorder, that results in lower back pain. CT-guided sacroiliac joint is an effective, practical, and safe method for sacroiliac joint disorder and injuries. It works through blocking the innervation and nociception receptors to relieve pain. It is a reliable technique for us to perform.
