Psoriasis Syndrome Distribution, Evolution And Treatment Of Study

This thesis includes literature summary and clinical study.The literature summary in which a large number of documents about psoriasis (PS) are collected and analyzed includes two parts. One part is about the overview of pathogenesis and treatment by differentiation of syndromes (TDS) of PS in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM). The other part is about the research and treatment progress of PS in modern medicine.The clinical study discusses the PS TCM syndromes in distribution, composition characteristic and the rule of evolution mainly through the epidemiology investigation to 303 PS patients and the tracks of treatment to 68 PS patients, which provides the basis for the PS clinical TDS. And it summarized professor Qu Xing's clinical experiences through the prescription - syndrome - effect clinical research. The accuracy and the effectiveness of this TDS are further confirmd by the observation of the therapeutic efficacy.The result shows that the main PS TCM syndromes are blood heat, blood dryness, blood stasis and dampness-heat. The syndrome of blood heat is the key of the evolution of syndromes, the familiar beginning syndrome of PS, the hinge of the transforming of pathogenesis. Blood heat often induces blood dryness and blood stasis. The three syndromes are time-dependent. Dampness-heat syndrome is related to the factor of physique. So it often runs through the whole course of PS once it appears. The anemopyrogenous and other minor syndromes are only the pathogeny of some phase in of the disease. Syndrome differentiation by skin is the main determining factor to differentiation of syndromes of PS.It also indicates the TCM syndromes of PS are complicated. The sole TCM syndrome can not reflect the process of pathogenesis changes in the progression of PS by far. Various syndromes always transmigrate and combined. They are unable to be separated clearly. The longer the course of the illness, the more relapse the condition is. So we can not replace differenriation of syndromes by simple typing. Differentiation of syndromes must be based on the the essence of syndrome and syndrome evolution. Though the treatment must aim at the skin damage and alleviate the skin symptom as soon as possible, the whole body symptoms should not be neglected. The individual treatment is the superiority of TDS to TCM.To aim at the pathogenesis and the syndrome characteristic of PS, we summarize professor Qu Xing's clinical experiences and practice it in clinical.
