Chinese Medicine 900 Anti-inflammatory Treasure Of Tcm In Patients With Gastrointestinal Tumors Climate And Quality Of Life Research

Objectives: The purpose of this research studies is to show if 900 Kang Yan Bao has the ability to improve the three form of alimentary canal tumour through clinical trial. Further clinical research to determine the effectiveness of 900 Kang Yan Bao on alimentary canal tumour patients in enhancing better quality of life is discussed.Methods: The targeted clinical research patients are mainly alimentary canal tumour patients from Singapore and Malaysia. These patients visited the Chinese Physician clinic for treatment. A sample of 40 patients with alimentary canal tumour was involved in the research studies. This comprises of 23 males and 17 females with age group ranging from 33 years old to 74 years old (average of 59 years old). These patients were prescribed with 900 Kang Yan Bao,to be taken orally 3 times a day,20ml each time for 4 weeks. They are to complete one full course of treatment that is 4 weeks.Results: From the statistical calculation , the result shows the effectiveness of using 900 Kang Yan Bao for the treatment of alimentary canal tumour. 4 shows excellent improvement in the quality of life,21 shows effective results and 15 with results that indicate not effective. With the use of 900 Kang Yan Bao during our course of experimentation,the total effective rate is 62.5%, of the patients show improvements. Detailed analysis of the symptoms is as follows: Improve bloat ness and pain of the gastral cavity and stomach. Ease distention of the abdomen. Release fatigue and improve one's appetite , Dry throat , heatiness , giddiness symptoms are greatly reduced. They looked more radiant and energetic compared to before.(P<0.01).Other symptoms such as loss of weight ,constipation,vomiting,etc have shown visible results as well.(P<0.05). In some cases with symptoms such as'li ji huo zhong','bian tang,''zhong kuai', was not improved. (P>0.05)Patients'quality of life has improved. The total stable rating calculated is 81.7%. The patients also managed to sustain their weight. The stability of the weight maintenance is 75.8%.Summary: 900 Kang Yan Bao has proved to be effective in correcting most of the symptoms for these alimentary canal tumour patients. All areas such as weight and the quality of life of the patients was maintained and achieved.
