Objective: To study the clinical application of the improved PPH plus sclerotherapyin treatment of the olderly patients with mixed hemorrhoids. Methods: The 120 cases of mixed hemorrhoids were randomly divided intoobservation group and controlled group,60 cases in observation group received the improved PPH plus sclerotherapy ,60 cases in controlled group received the external dissection and internal ligation procedure. Results: Of the 60 patients in observation group, the curative patients was 11cases,the effectual patients was 32 cases, the effective patients was 14 cases, the invalid patients was 2 cases, the mean time of operation was (16.55±3.66) minutes, the mean hospital stay was (5.07 ± 1.25)days,the mean period of therapy was (10.85 ± 2.55)days,the cases of postoperative pain, bleeding, retention of urine and edema were 24,3,24 and 2. Of the 60 patients in controlled group, the curative patients was 10 cases, the effectual patients was 27 cases, the effective patients was 16 cases, the invalid patients was 7 cases, the mean time of operation was (45.25+7.97) minutes, the mean hospital stay was (8.32 ± 1.55)days,the mean period of therapy was (15.47 + 1.56)days, the cases of postoperative pain, bleeding, retention of urine and edema were 57,6,29 and 11.Conclusion: The improved PPH plus sclerotherapy in treatment of the olderlypatients with mixed hemorrhoids is effective, simple, safe, less complications and easy to recover. It is suggested that improved PPH plus sclerotherapy is a reasonable method in the treatment of olderly patients with mixed hemorrhoids. |
