Pulse Through The Square Treatment Of Vi Diabetic Nephropathy 36 Cases Of Clinical Studies

Objective To observe the effect of Mai Tong Fang (MTF) in treating the fourth stage of diabetic nephropathy.Methods Using MTF to treat 36 patients with the fourth stage of diabeticnephropathy and controlled by 32 patients treated with irbesartan, the therapeutic course was 3 month for both groups, changes of clinical symptoms, blood glucose, lipid metabolism, blood viscosity, blood pressure and total 24-hour urinary protein were observed and compared.Results The total effective rate in the treat group was 86.1% while in thecontrol group 59.4%. The symptoms, urinary protein, lipid metabolism as well as blood viscosity in the treat group all significantly improved after treatment (P<0.05 or P<0.01), but in the control group improvement only showed in urinary protein, 2-hour blood glucose and blood pressure level (P<0.01).Conclusion MTF has the effects of reducing urinary protein in 24 hours, improving lipid metabolism and blood viscosity in treating the fourth stage of diabetic nephropathy.
