Discussion: This clinical experiment show that the methods in the treatment group are better and more effective than those in the control group. regulate the qi and blood nourish the jingluo, and finally to improve the effects of the treatment to the sequela of facial paralysis belonging to this. Moreover my experiments has also shown that the effects of acupuncture are also has relation to the patients'age, career, situation of the illness, whether having other chronic illness, also to the mental state of the patients. In the other words, the younger the patients, the shorter the course of the illness, the better the state of the illness, the more effective of the therapy. By the way all the patients in the two group accepted other treatments of acupuncture, medicine, and physical therapy and the like, but all these has few effects. The methods used in the treatment group are easier to carry out, are more helpful to reduce the spasm of facial muscles. In addition, such treatments can avoid the stimulation on face and subsequently are easier to be accepted by the patients. Thus it will be worthy to apply such treatments into clinical practices. |
