Lysimachia christinae Hance. is known as a traditional Chinese Medicine for treating stranguria and calculus. And its main locality is Sichuan Province.In this experiment, we made microscopic and macroscopic identifcation for Lysimachia Christinae Hance, Desmodium styracifolium (Osb.)Merr., Glechoma longituba (Nakai) Kupi., Lysimachia hemsleyana Maxim., and Lysimachia congestifloa HemsL And Lysimachia Christinae Hance, Desmodium styracifolium (Osb.)Merr. and Glechoma longituba (Nakai) Kupi are the varieties which are included by Chinese Pharmacopeia, while the last two varieties are considered as the fake.From the alcohol extract of Lysimachia christinae Hance., 7 constituents were isolated by various chromatographic and recrystalized methods. On the basis of analysis of UV, NMR, MS data and measuring of physico-chemical characters, the structures of 6 compounds were identified as heptadecanol, eicosanoic acid, stigmastanol, caffeic acid, kaempferol glycoside. Apart from kaempferol glycoside, the others were first isolated from this genus.We had developed the Sixth New Drug-Fufang Jinqiancao Penwuji in which Lysimachia christinae Hance. was regarded as the main drug. We investigated and optimized the technique process, made quality standard, had pharmacologic study. Use TLC method, kaempferol as index, we had finished the quality identification. Applying reverse phase high performace liquid chromatographic method, we determine the content of chlorogenic acid and kaempferol, and the recovery rate of assay met the demand. The methodappeared to be simple, accurate and reliable, and can be used for the quality control of the preparation.To investigate the anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and analgesia effect of the preparation, we had mice feet swelling and ear swelling model induced by dimethylbenzene and 10% albumen. And the inflammatory of mice feet and ear swelling apparently was refrained by the preparation. So it proved that the preparation had the effect of anti-inflammatory, anti-bacteria and analgesia.
