OBJECTIVE: To study the anti - inflammatory mechanism of Penyankangshuan(P YKS) in treating chronic pelvic inflammation disease.METHODS: To calculate the degree of swelling by using the model of granulation inflammation and the model of swelling of rat's ear . To measure the lowest density of bacteria suppression by laboratory experiment . Establishing rat's womb inflammation model, 6groups are formed which are the high, the middle and the low dosage groups of the PYKS, the KFXYS (a kind of patent medicine has a similar effect), the blank model group, the normal test group . After the model was established , PYKS or KFXYS is given to the rat by enema starting from 16th das to 39th days . The author applies the immunohistochemistry, the pathology and the hemorheology to observe the changes happened in the model rats ,such as the markers of NF-κB, Caspase -3, MMP-2 and the pathological.RESULTS: PYKS can release inflammatory exudation ,decrease granulomatous inflammation, inhibit Stanphylococcus aureus, Colon bacillus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa . It can obviously decrease plasma viscosity ,fibrinogen. At the same tune, pathological result showed that plasma cells and fiber cells were reduced obviously . Also it can rise the level of expression of Caspase-3 and MMP-2,on the contrary it can decrease the expression of NF-κB.CONCLUSION: Summarizing the above-mentioned results, We can get the conclusion that the PYKS has the effects to inhibit directly the occurrence of inflammation and formation of inflammatory mediator , to quicken apoptosis and dissemination of fiber tissue and to assist in blood circulation ,so as to lessen the occurrence of information and improve tissue rebuilding.
