Objective:To investigate the relationships among the Helicobacter pylori(Hp) infection, the contents and changes of serum pepsinogens PGI and PGâ…¡,the contents of gastric juice pepsin and the gastric carcinoma. Methods:There were 127 of patients and 20 of controls. Among 127 patients, there were 83 of chronic superficial gastritis ,4 of chronic atrophic gastritis,18 of gastric ulcer and 22 of gastric carcinoma. H pylori infection was diagnosed by rapid urease test(RUT) and histology; Radioimmunoassay was used to detect the contents of the serum PGI and PGII; Enzyme-linked-immunoabsorbent assay(ELISA) was used to detect the contents of gastric juice pepsin. To study the indexes above-mentionded was in order to find the relationships between gastric carcinoma and the changes of these indexes. Results: The positive rate of H pylori is 83.46% for rapid urease test,38.58% for histology. The positive rate of RUT is higher than that of histology (P<0.01).The positive rate of Hp infection in gastric carcinoma was lower than that in gastritis and gastric ulcer patients. In the tests of the contents of serum PG among the patients with various gastric diseases, the contents of PGâ… in gastric carcinoma was lower than that in thenormal control group, superficial gastritis group and gastric ulcer group(P<0.01); the ratio of PGâ… /PGâ…¡ in gastric carcinoma was also lower than that in the normal control group and superficial gastritis group (P<0.01), the contents of PGâ… ,PGâ…¡ in Hp(+) patients were higher than those in Hp(ï¼) patients (P<0.01).There were no significant differences in the gastric juice pepsin contents among the normal controls and patients with varions gastric diseases. Conclusions: Hp infection is associated with the pathogenesis of gastric carcinoma . The descendt of the numerical value and specific value of the serum pepsinogens â… and â…¡ is a critical factor connected closely with gastric carcinoma , which can be used as a serologic indication to screen gastric carcinoma. If PGâ… ï¼œ40ug/L,PGâ… /PGⅡ<2.0 and Hp(+), it is very dangerous in leading to the gastric carcinoma... |
