Benzodiazepines are a class of sedatives and hypnotics, and 33 of them are international controlled. At present, more than 10 kinds of these drugs such as triazolam, alprazolam, are commonly used in our country. And they are also used for various crimes such as robbery after hypnotizing the victims, which are harmful for people's life and property tremendously. These drugs are strongly effective when taken orally at lower doses. They can metabolize in human liver and the metabolites are excreted out of body through urine. Therefore, the qualitative and quantitative analysis of benzodiazepines and their metabolites in plasma and urine, which has been an important task for forensic scientists, is of special significance.In this paper , triazolam , alprazolam and their major metabolites -hydroxytriazolam and abstract-hydroxyalprazolam were measured by GC/ECD and GC/NPD. Because the metabolites contain OH group in the molecular structure, the method of trimethylsilyl (TMS) and t-butyldimethylsilyl (TBDMS) and acetyl derivative of metabolites were developed. The urinary excretion of triazolam , alprazolam and their major metabolites -hydroxy triazolam and -hydroxyalprazolam were measured in this paper. The method of analysis TBDMS derivatives of -hydroxytriazolam and -hydroxyalprazolam by GC/ECD and TMS derivatives of -hydroxytriazolam and -hydroxyalprazolam by GC/NPD has not been reported at home.In the analysis, the method of internal standard's standard curves were used for quantitative analysis.
