Objective: To experiment and study the effect of the TangKe decoction with dispelling phlegm and eliminating stasis (TDPES) on blood lipids (TG,TC,HDL) , plasma glucose, Serena insulin concentration, insulin resistance index (IRI) , insulin sensitivity index (ISI) ,nitric oxide (NO) in insulin resistant rats. Methods: The rats were fed with high fat dite to make insulin resistant model. In four weeks one group was filled stomatch the Tangke decoction with TDPES, meanwhile compared with Rosiligatone group and .The fasting blood glucose and the fasting insulin were tested before and after the treatment. The blood lipid (TG,TC,HDL) and NO were measure after treatment. Results: The insulin resistant index (IRI) in model groups were significantly higher.Than that in normal group, p< 0.05; The insulin sensitivity index (ISI) were markely lower than that in normal group,p< 0.05. Triglyceride (TG) in Tanke decoction group was lower than it in blank model group, p< 0.05. NO in tangke decoction significantly high than it in blank model group. This indicated that Tangke decoction could decrease hyperlipemia, adjusted the changes of NO.Conclusion: TDPES could decrease hyperlipemia in IR, thus improved the IR and adjusted the changes of NO.
