With the inquiry about the clinical characteristics and the relative factors of TS , this paper discussed the etiology and pathogenesis of TS in TCM. Through the investigation of enquiry papers and with the data processed by mathematical statistics method, the results show: the initial symptoms of the TS patients usually manifested as motor twitching in the head and face, formed simple or complex twitching in several parts gradually and the longer the course of TS is, the more following motor problems would appear. On the basic of summrizing the characteristics of the physique and disposition of the TS patients, this paper analysed the relation of physique-disposition to the TS. Compared with the control group, TS is found having a relation to those factors such as food and drink, the mother抯 mental condition in pregnancy, the genetic factors, the family education and so on(P
