Based On Empirical Studies Of Alcatel Shanghai Bell Co., Ltd. Supply Chain Risk Management

Great achievements have been obtained with the supply chain management in many companies over the world. In the meantime, with the developments of the economic globalization, the scale of supply chain increases and the organization of it becomes more complicated, which conduces to risk issues in supply chain frequently with serious results. Thus, the risk management of supply chain has become an important branch in supply chain management field.This dissertation expatiates in detail for various kinds of risks in supply chain and provides practical analysis for the risk management of supply chain in Alcatel Shanghai Bell Co. Ltd. Linking theory with practice, the dissertation demonstrates the importance and necessity of risk management in supply chain for its high efficient operation and also discusses about how to execute effective risk management in supply chain. Aiming at the risk management issues discovered in Alcatel Shanghai Bell's supply chain system, the writer also indicates some appropriate solution methods and prevention measures.The research direction in the future for the risk management in supply chain field is indicated in last chapter.
